Segan was apart of the opening team at CLAW. With his vibrant personality, contagious laugh and striking smile we can see why our guests love interacting with him. Segan has an extensive background in the hospitality industry with which he is always sharing his knowledge with the team ensuring they stay up to date with their training as well as empowering the team to reach their full potential.

What made you choose the hospitality industry over any other industry?
My first love was the kitchen but the idea of interacting with different people everyday was always something I wanted to do. Being in hospitality gives me the best of both worlds
In your opinion, what 1 attribute stands out in a great leader?
Empathy - If you can put yourself in another persons shoes in order to feel what they are feeling and/or think what they are thinking in order to understand their needs or make them happy, they would in turn do the same for you. I feel that if you are a great leader,it would be reflected in those working with you, WANTING to work with you.
What makes CLAW unique and stand out against other restaurants in Dubai/the world?
When someone becomes part of the CLAW family, it is not only about their work experience. Its about the personality they bring into claw and how that personality comes across when providing our service opposed to the robotic style we on such a regular basis.
Why do you love CLAW?
I think the question is..... How can you not?
What is the most memorable experience you have had in Dubai outside of work?
Being able to camp at the seaside in my tent.
